| Description: |
Canvas provides built-in tools that can help instructors identify and resolve accessibility issues in the course.
In this 30-minute session, participants will explore the accessibility tools available within Canvas and learn how to incorporate them into their course design workflow. We will examine the Canvas built-in accessibility checker, interpret Ally Course Accessibility Reports to identify common accessibility barriers, and apply recommendations to improve digital course content. Participants will also receive an introduction to YuJa Panorama and explore how it can support the remediation of course materials.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Identify how to navigate and utilize Canvas’s built-in accessibility checker effectively.
2) Analyze and interpret accessibility reports generated by Ally. |
