The Title II revision (Final Rule) requires all digital content to meet accessibility standards, ensuring usability for all users. The final session of the Digital Accessibility Series focuses on leveraging accessibility tools in Canvas.
Participants will learn how to use Canvas’s built-in accessibility checker to identify and address issues within course materials, interpret the Ally report, and apply its recommendations to enhance overall accessibility. The session will conclude with a broad overview of Yuja Panorama, a new tool that offers automated accessibility enhancements.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Identify how to navigate and utilize Canvas’s built-in accessibility checker effectively.
2) Analyze and interpret accessibility reports generated by Ally.
3) Apply recommendations from Canvas and Ally to improve the accessibility of course materials. |
