Through the discussion of the results a classroom-based study on the implementation of two Web 2.0-based projects in L2 Spanish classes in the Department of Hispanic Studies, this presentation will introduce the following: 1) a theoretical framework in which the implementation of technology can be grounded and can be applied to a variety of disciplines; 2) the high-leverage practices that can facilitate successful implementation; and 3) the ways in which instruction can reflect the objectives and outcomes showcased and expected in documents such as the Reimagining the Role of Technology in Education: 2017 National Education Technology Plan Update (US Department of Education, 2017). |
