| Description: |
In this foundational session tailored for faculty and staff who support teaching, we will explore how Google's enterprise generative AI can safely accelerate course design and pedagogical support.
We will review Texas A&M's enterprise privacy standards (including our zero-data-training guarantee and FERPA alignment), introduce the Google AI ecosystem, and explore the P.A.R.T.S. Prompting Framework (Persona, Act, Recipient, Theme, Structure) for teaching contexts.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Navigate enterprise data privacy protections in Google Workspace.
2) Transform brief queries into structured, high-yield prompts.
3) Use Gemini to draft rubrics, discussion prompts, active learning scenarios, and faculty support materials. |
