| Description: |
PDFs are commonly used to share articles, handouts, and other course materials, but they are often one of the most challenging document formats to make accessible. Creating accessible PDFs begins with understanding how the document was created.
In this 30-minute session, participants will explore two approaches to creating accessible PDF documents and learn when each method is most appropriate. We will examine common accessibility issues found in PDFs and use Adobe Acrobat Pro's built-in accessibility tools to identify and remediate accessibility issues.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Identify common accessibility issues with PDF files.
2) Evaluate the accessibility of PDF files using Adobe Acrobat built-in accessibility checker. |
