With the extension of the final rule deadline, now is the perfect time to ensure your digital content is accessible. This session focuses on leveraging accessibility tools in Canvas.
Participants will learn how to use Canvas’s built-in accessibility checker to identify and address issues within course materials, interpret the Ally report, and apply its recommendations to enhance overall accessibility. The session will conclude with a broad overview of Yuja Panorama, a tool that can assist with remediation of content.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Identify how to navigate and utilize Canvas’s built-in accessibility checker effectively.
2) Analyze and interpret accessibility reports generated by Ally.
3) Apply recommendations from Canvas and Ally to improve the accessibility of course materials. |
