| Description: |
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to communicate with generative AI tools. Specifically, they will discuss and apply prompting techniques, evaluate output, and iteratively refine prompts.
Brief attention will be given to the common limitations of AI, including accuracy and bias, to support critical evaluation of outputs. The session emphasizes an integrative, human-in-the-loop approach to improving results.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Identify affordances and limitations of generative AI
2) Construct an effective prompt for an educational use case
3) Iteratively refine prompts based on evaluation of output |
