In preparation for the Final Rule, this 90-minute Zoom session will equip participants with practical steps to create accessible Word documents and PowerPoint presentations. Participants will learn how to leverage Microsoft Office’s built-in features to design content that is accessible to all users.
Participants are encouraged to have access to one Word document and one PowerPoint presentation to work on during the session. The session will be offered again on Wednesday, April 22.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Utilize the built-in Accessibility Checker in Word and PowerPoint to identify and fix common issues.
2) Review practices for creating accessible Word and PowerPoint content.
3) Apply remediation techniques to improve accessibility in Word and PowerPoint documents. |
