What should a syllabus contain? How does the tone of a syllabus affect students? This workshop outlines components of a student-centered syllabus and discusses common classroom problems that can be avoided or minimized by a well-constructed syllabus. Participants will receive several handouts to support their design of a syllabus. This workshop is open to graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. |
