| Description: |
This final workshop highlights the core elements of course design with a focus on alignment that supports meaningful learning. We will examine how alignment ensures each course component reinforces the same goals, creating clarity and consistency for students.
Participants will also reflect on their design choices and consider how these decisions shape the classroom experience. The session explores the role of Generative AI in the design cycle, including reviewing syllabus statements related to AI use, identifying ways AI can streamline design tasks, and brainstorming how AI can support both course development and classroom practice.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will be able to…
1) Discuss the importance of aligning all components of course design.
2) Evaluate design choices and their impact on student learning.
3) Identify practical, ethical strategies for leveraging AI in course design and classroom implementation. |
