| Description: |
Various tools in Canvas can help check the accessibility of a course, perform a final review of course materials, or simply track accessibility progress.
In this session, we will explore Canvas tools—such as the built-in accessibility checker, Panorama, and the Ally report—that can improve the accessibility of your course content and show how Canvas can be embedded into your accessibility workflow. You will also hear from Patty Luna, Director of Academic Technology at the School of Public Health, who will share how her team approaches digital accessibility and how the School of Public Health leverages Canvas to create accessible course content.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Identify at least three Canvas tools that support accessibility checks and improvements.
2) Outline steps to integrate Canvas tools into their accessibility workflow for ongoing compliance.
3) Explain the role of Panorama and Ally reports in tracking and enhancing accessibility. |
