| Description: |
The Title II revision (the Final Rule) requires all digital content to meet accessibility standards, ensuring usability for all users. Prepare for this mandate by learning how to use the built-in accessibility checkers in Word and PowerPoint to create accessible documents.
This foundational session will guide participants in identifying common accessibility issues such as poor color contrast, missing alternative text, and improper table formatting. The session also includes demonstrations and resources to help you begin your journey toward creating fully accessible documents.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Identify common accessibility issues in Word and PowerPoint documents.
2) Apply practices to remediate Word and PowerPoint files.
3) Evaluate the accessibility of documents using built-in accessibility checkers. |
