The recent Title II revision (the Final Rule) mandates that all digital content meet accessibility standards, ensuring usability for all learners. This workshop focuses on two key areas of digital accessibility: PDF documents and Canvas course design. PDF files are often the most challenging materials to remediate, and participants will explore common accessibility issues found in PDFs while practicing with Adobe Acrobat’s built-in accessibility checker. The session will also introduce accessibility tools in Canvas, including the platform’s accessibility checker and the Ally report. Participants will learn how to interpret accessibility feedback, apply recommended fixes, and improve the overall accessibility of their course content.
