This workshop introduces graduate student instructors to practical strategies for creating accessible course materials in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Participants will explore common accessibility issues, learn how to apply effective formatting strategies, and practice using built-in accessibility tools to remediate materials. The session will provide practical guidance on headings, alternative text, reading order, hyperlinking, and other essential accessibility features. Participants are encouraged to bring at least one Word document and one PowerPoint file to revise during the workshop.
