| Description: |
Effective feedback is essential for student learning, yet not all feedback leads to meaningful improvement. This workshop explores strategies for offering clear, actionable, and motivating feedback that students can apply to future work. Participants will examine various feedback models, consider how to balance encouragement with constructive critique, and practice crafting feedback that promotes growth and deeper learning.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will be able to...
1. Identify characteristics of feedback that supports student learning and improvement.
2. Apply strategies for delivering concise, actionable, and equitable feedback.
3. Distinguish between feedback that evaluates performance and feedback that develops skills. |
