| Description: |
Ninth in a series of workshops for graduate students, post-docs, and visiting scholars whose primary language is not English. This interactive workshop brings Aggie undergraduate students together with international grad students to discuss the classroom culture at Texas A&M and in other countries. Each group gains a better understanding of the other, leading to more effective communication in the classroom, lab, and office hours.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will be able to...
1.Make small talk with someone from another culture.
2.Articulate the educational culture in universities in your home country.
3.Discover something new about another culture. |
