The AFF Executive Committee will discuss navigating institutional differences in higher education. Participants will examine how various types of institutions—such as research universities, teaching-focused colleges, and community colleges—may emphasize different qualifications, skills, and experiences in faculty roles. The session will provide insights to help graduate students better understand institutional priorities and prepare for diverse career opportunities in academia.
Participants will be able to:
