Dr. Rainey, Assistant Managing Director of Graduate Student Advising in the Career Center, supports graduate students in exploring and preparing for diverse career paths. In this workshop, he will guide participants in identifying the transferable skills developed through Teaching Assistant (TA) assignments and other graduate student roles. Attendees will learn how to effectively articulate these skills on their CVs and job materials to strengthen their applications for both academic and industry positions.

1. Define transferable skills.
2. Identify transferable skills associated with your current graduate school experience.
3. Map transferable skills identified to a CV for a future position. |
