This workshop, offered twice this Fall, combines practical remediation techniques with an instructional design perspective to support accessible course materials. Participants will explore common accessibility issues in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and learn how to address them using built-in accessibility checkers and effective formatting strategies.
Instructional designers from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences will also share strategies for embedding accessibility into the course development process. Please bring at least one Word document and one PowerPoint presentation to practice remediation strategies during the session.
