Take a Sip of the Silly Goose Juice: Preventing Burnout Among Advising Staff! Join us for some Silly Goose time and learn some tips on how to foster connection within your department in all modalities of work: in-person, hybrid, or remote. In our discussion, we will share relevant theories regarding compassion fatigue and the importance of staff welfare within higher education. We will share a framework that allows any size organization to consistently prioritize their team’s well-being ranging from passive activities to full-scale events. Our session will include a team-building activity and an opportunity to share your institutions’ strategies to prevent burnout. We hope that you’ll come away with new inspiration on how to strengthen morale and boost inclusivity among team members! |
