Regardless of your teaching responsibilities, getting organized early in the semester can save time and reduce stress later on. This session will give you an understanding of Canvas and how to navigate its feature. We’ll also help you set up you gradebook to simplify your teaching and lead to a more efficient and effective semester.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will be able to...
1. Identify key features of the Canvas interface relevant to your teaching role.
2. Explain the purpose and function of basic Canvas tools such as Modules, Assignments, and Announcements.
3. Set up basic components of a Canvas course site (e.g., homepage, syllabus, gradebook) based on your specific responsibilities. |
