Back by popular demand, this series from the Spring 2025 semester returns. The recent Title II revision (the Final Rule) mandates that all digital content meet accessibility standards, ensuring usability for all users. This last session of the Digital Accessibility Series focuses on leveraging accessibility tools found in Canvas.
Discover how to effectively use Canvas’s built-in accessibility checker to identify and address accessibility issues within your course materials. Learn to interpret the Ally report, apply its recommendations, and improve the overall accessibility of your content.
Learning Outcomes: Participants
will be able to…
1) Identify how to navigate and utilize Canvas’s built-in accessibility checker effectively.
2) Analyze and interpret accessibility reports generated by Ally.
3) Apply recommendations from Canvas and Ally to improve the accessibility of course materials. |
