| Description: |
Ninth in a series of workshops for international graduate students, faculty, post-docs, and visiting scholars. This interactive workshop brings Aggie undergraduate students together with international grad students and instructors to discuss the classroom culture at Texas A&M and in other countries. Each group gains a better understanding of the other, leading to more effective communication in the classroom, lab, and office hours.
Learning Outcomes: "Participants will be able to:
1. Make small talk with someone from another culture.
2. Articulate the educational culture in universities in your home country.
3. Discover something new about another culture." |
