Description: In this first session, participants will explore the situational factors that shape the context of their courses. We will define learning outcomes—the foundation of a well-designed course—in terms of purpose and structure.
Discover tools and examples that support the development of learning outcomes. Engage in an activity where you'll review and revise learning outcomes, with opportunities for feedback.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will...
1. Define course situational factors most relevant to the overall course plan.
2. Create/revise learning outcomes that are student centered, meaningful, and measurable.
