Description: |
Have you ever wondered what makes a multiple-choice question a higher-order thinking question? Can multiple-choice questions really promote higher-order thinking? How about discussions? This workshop will explore how to design and implement higher order thinking questions and how to integrate these questions in Canvas. We will also explore how you can leverage generative AI tools, such as Copilot, to create engaging and challenging questions that promote critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving. Participants will have a chance to generate their own questions.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will be able to...

2. Use Copilot to generate and enhance higher order thinking questions.
