Description: |
In this first session, participants will consider situational factors that define the context of their course. Learning outcomes, the foundation of a well-designed course, will be defined in terms of purpose and structure. Tools supporting development of learning outcomes will be shared along with examples. An activity around drafting/revising learning outcomes will provide opportunity for feedback.

Define course situational factors most relevant to the overall course plan.
Create/revise learning outcomes that are student centered, meaningful, and measurable.
Generate a second level learning outcomes by session or topic related to the course level learning outcomes. |
