| Description: |
Second in a series of intensive practice sessions for current and future international teaching assistants and faculty. Learn and apply a major feature of American English pronunciation: syllable stress. Focus on vowel quality, duration, pitch, and intensity. Identify the typical acoustic differences between content words and function words.
All sessions take place via Zoom Video Conference. Advance registration via ERS is required; those who register via ERS will be emailed the Zoom meeting ID and password. |
