Whether you intend to apply for a job in academia or seek a career in industry, employers are interested to know about the skills you acquired during your graduate studies. This workshop will help you identify transferable skills associated with a Teaching Assistant (TA) assignment and other graduate student positions and translate them into something helpful on your CV for your future job search endeavors.
Participants will:
• Define transferable skills.
• Identify transferable skills associated with your current graduate school experience ( e.g., GAT, GANT).
• Map transferable skills identified to a CV for a future position.
