Description: |
Are you designing a new course? Will you be refining one that you have taught before? Have you always wanted to develop an assignment or assessment but have never found the time? This hands-on interactive working session will help you design and create learning experiences that will maximize your students’ motivation, engagement, and learning achievement. This session will focus on how to best design learning experiences, activities, and assessments based on principles from the interdisciplinary field of the Learning Sciences. Lunch will be served.
Learning Outcomes
After completing this workshop, you will be able to:
• Identify foundational Learning Sciences principles
• Apply strategies and approaches from the Learning Sciences to design, develop, and implement learning activities.
