Early Alert Round 3 Workshop
The Office for Student Success has successfully initiated an Early Alert process for High Impact courses such as Biology, Chemistry, and History. This workshop is especially important for advisors who coordinate mid-term and/or Q-drop advising efforts by illustrating the following key roles:
1. Utilizing the Early Alert 3 tags to identify students who need support
2. Implementing timely outreach efforts
3. Connecting students to both academic and non-academic resources
4. Helping students pinpoint their options (e.g., Q-drops)
5. Assessing outreach effectiveness
In addition to pertinent program updates, part 3 of the Early Alert Workshop educates advisors on the significance of the EA3 tags as the best indicator of up-to-date student progress.
