Description: |
This interactive workshop session focuses on diversity and inclusion in the classroom and on designing effective instruction for every student. It is closely aligned with the concepts covered in the Aggie Ability Awareness workshop sessions. Educating Every Aggie will cover topics such as the background and legal requirements of disability accommodations, preconceived notions and biases, accommodations and modifications, effective course design, and the principles of universal design for learning. This workshop is a collaboration between Disability Services, the Center on Disability and Development, the Center for Teaching Excellence, and the College of Liberal Arts. |
