| Description: |
The Astronaut Scholarship is a one-year, up to $15,000, scholarship that is renewable for a second year. To apply, you must be a US citizen currently in your second or third year as an undergraduate at Texas A&M University with at least one more full year of schooling left to obtain your undergraduate degree.
In addition, you must have conducted a considerable
amount of work outside the classroom in your chosen field of study. This may include laboratory research, cooperative education, internships, relevant military experience, entrepreneurial endeavors, and/or documented independent work resulting in technical papers, patents, or similar work products.
You must be majoring in engineering, technology, natural or applied science, or mathematics and intend to pursue research as a career. Students who intend to practice a profession (medical doctor, practicing engineer) are not eligible
A GPR of at least 3.7 is preferred. |
