This session explores specific strategies and methods for effectively integrating service-learning and community-engaged learning into your courses. The 1.5-hour workshop will provide faculty with practical tools and techniques to enhance their teaching practices and maximize student engagement and learning outcomes.
Participants will explore advanced topics such as designing impactful service-learning projects, fostering meaningful community partnerships, and assessing student learning and community impact. Additionally, the workshop will offer opportunities for faculty to share their experiences, discuss challenges, and collaborate on innovative solutions.
