This workshop helps participants enhance their teaching and public speaking skills through microteaching demonstrations delivered in a low-risk environment. Each participant delivers a 5-minute presentation, receiving constructive feedback from a consultant and an undergraduate student on pronunciation, presentation structure, visual aids, nonverbal communication and more. By presenting in front of a friendly audience, participants develop confidence, and by observing peers' presentations, they gain additional insight into best practices for comprehensible and well-developed presentations.
If you wish to attend but do not wish to present, please note that you are allowed to attend as an observer only once, on two conditions: that you give feedback to each presenter, and that you give a presentation yourself next time you come.
Microteaching Practice takes place via Zoom videoconference. Advance registration via ERS is required; those who register via ERS will be emailed the Zoom |
