Description: Argos is used to create reports from a selected set of Compass admissions and student records database tables. This beginner training is designed for the individual with little or no technical background in SQL programming.? We will move at a slower pace and explain concepts in detail to help the class understand the Argos reporting tool and data.? By the end of the session, the user will be able to create “datablocks” and reports that will satisfy many reporting needs. Argos is a Windows-based application. Mac users can access Argos via TAMU’s Virtual Open Access Lab (VOAL). Details on using VOAL will be provided in class. Users are required to have a valid Compass account in order to register for the beginner class.
