| Description: |
This working session is designed to support instructors conducting core curriculum assessment with emphasis on assignments for the oral communication core objective. Instructors teaching core curriculum courses with an oral communication requirement are strongly encouraged to attend.
Participants will explore the key characteristics of oral communication assignments based on review of information supporting the core curriculum assessment process and reflection on scoring/debriefing of a submitted oral communication artifact. General guidance on submission of artifacts for scoring will be provided. All participants are expected to bring a copy of their course syllabus and core curriculum assignment(s) for the working portion of the session where they will have the opportunity to give and receive peer feedback on their plans.
