Description: Have you ever wanted to make your courses more creative? Creativity—coming up with novel ideas that are useful—is a crucial 21st century skill and plays a critical role in every discipline. Creativity is essential for powerful learning. In this workshop you will analyze and adjust your courses for optimal facilitation of creativity. This is an online asynchronous 4-week workshop, with engagement in learning activities and discussions expected every week. Optional Zoom discussion sessions will be available. After successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to: • Communicate how the landscape of creativity can be implemented in structuring learning experiences • Evaluate class environments and activities for strengths and weaknesses in facilitating creativity • Revise learning activities and contexts for greater facilitation of creativity Schedule: • Week 1: Feb 22 - March 1 • Week 2: March 1 - 8 • Week 3: March 8 - 15 • Week 4: March 15 - 22
