Description: There will be two types of sessions for Faculty Search training, each offered multiple times on August 7th and August 8th. The trainings will be held in the Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Building (ILSB) auditorium. Participants need only attend one session. Administrator training will be a two-hour session and all college and department administrators with responsibilities in faculty recruitment and hiring should attend. College and department staff members that assist with faculty hiring and recruitment should attend the administrator training along with, rather than in place of, their dean and department head. Search Committee Chair training is an opportunity for faculty search chairs and support staff who will start using the product this fall to get an overview of the product. Once again, support staff should attend this training along with the chair, rather than in place of the chair.
