Description: |
When it comes to teaching and learning, our grasp of content, our course design, and our clarity of explanation all play a role in how our students learn. Yet, beyond content, the environment in which our students learn has been the subject of research, and the results suggest both content and environment play key roles in how our students learn. What makes for a positive learning environment? A negative one? What choices can we make to improve our classroom climate, and what positive effects might we expect to see as a result? How can I communicate my intention of a positive learning environment/classroom climate in my communications with students, both on paper and face-to-face? |
