Say what? Have you ever experienced the frustration of thinking you have communicated effectively, only to find the message you sent was completely misunderstood? This session will look at how different cultures communicate and how misunderstandings occur by examining the stumbling blocks to effective intercultural communication. Students will learn skills that will help you adapt for success during your global program.
This is a mandatory cultural competency seminar for all students participating in a Summer, Augustmester or Fall 2020 College of Engineering global program.
**This event is on the same day of Ring Day. There are 3 time options to choose from.
