| Description: |
The University Writing Center (UWC) and Evans Library are offering a Thesis and Dissertation Proposal Writing & Research Retreat from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19th.
Participants will receive short informative presentations, dedicated writing time, and engaging activities to help stay successful during the thesis/dissertation proposal writing process.
Participants will also have opportunities to meet with librarians and writing consultants for some individualized help and resource referrals if needed. Please bring your own laptop. We will provide lunch, snacks, and beverages, but you may bring your own food if you prefer. There is no cost.
To qualify for attendance, you must be actively writing your proposal. This retreat is NOT suitable for grant proposals or general coursework. Furthermore, this retreat is also NOT suitable for those who have already submitted a proposal and are currently working on a thesis/dissertation.
