Description: Texas A&M’s Diversity Plan is focused on three specific goals for the university: accountability, climate, and equity. This Plan, which was developed and vetted in 2010 calls for increasing layers of accountability for how we benchmark our progress, monitor and enhance campus climate, and assess equity so that the campus is a welcoming and affirming place to all. Drawing on Kotter’s Organizational Change Model conceptual framework and utilizing quantitative and qualitative analysis measures, Dr. Stanley will share the university’s progress in accountability, climate, and equity efforts, including opportunities for future engagement. Specifically, she will address current climate assessment efforts, success strategies for recruitment and retention of faculty, staff, and students across academic and administrative units, and data practices that are being used to inform decision-making, leverage organizational change and cultivate structural change in practices and processes for an inclus
