The Office of the Provost is hosting a New Degree Program Workshop. The workshop will include information on the:
1. requirements of the University, A&M System, Board of Regents, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and SACSCOC;
2. process and procedures for submission of new degree proposals,
3. required documents that must be submitted with the proposal,
4. financial planning; and
5. approvals required for new degree programs.
Prior to submitting a new degree proposal, attendance at a workshop by a representative of the department or unit submitting the proposal is required. This workshop will be offered each spring. Missing the workshop this year means that the department/unit cannot submit a new degree proposal until after attending next year’s workshop.
This year’s New Degree Program Workshop will be offered twice: Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 12:00 - 1:00PM, and Thursday, March 2, 2017, 12:00 - 1:00PM.
