Description: Winter break is a good time to reflect on the fall semester and make adjustments for spring. Join peers for a working session on ways to adjust your syllabus to effectively address academic anxiety. WHEN & WHERE December 18 - 10:30-11:30, YMCA 205D January 8 – 1:00-2:00, WebEx Meeting Session goals are to help instructors: • Make the syllabus a tool to support learning • Increase student attention to the syllabus • Connect students with support resources • Build assessment for learning into the syllabus • Use the syllabus to help manage common learning challenges • Communicate effective disciplinary study habits • Help students connect learning with grades Email your syllabus to cte@tamu.edu for feedback from our Instructional Consultant team.
