Description: Course Description: MATLAB is a commercial "Matrix Laboratory" package that operates as a multi-paradigm numerical computing and provides an interactive programming environment. The programming language is exceptionally straightforward since its basic data object is assumed to be a matrix (array). It has lot of uses ranging from math computations, modeling and simulations, data analysis and processing, visualization and graphics, and algorithm development. In this course, students will have the chance to get exposed to applications on statistics and probabilities using MATLAB. Course content: • Starting with MATLAB (Working with Command Window, Arithmetic Operations with Scalars, Managing scalar variables, Creating Arrays and Matrix Manipulations). • Random Data Simulation using Rand function. • Analysis of Numerical Descriptive Measures of Center and Variability. • Plotting Probability Distributions using Graphical Descriptive techniques (Histogr
