Description: |
Patent analytics is the systematic computational analysis of patent data
or statistics. There is an abundance of patent data and statistics, and a
growing repertoire of patent analytics capable of discovering, interpreting, communicating, and visualizing patterns in these data and statistics. In addition, there has been rapid growth in methods of powerful patent analytics capable of discovering, interpreting, communicating, and visualizing patterns in patent data and statistics. In accordance with international treaties, the modern patent has a formal structure that varies only slightly from technology to technology and country to country, which increasingly allows patent analytics to cover both U.S. and foreign patents. This presentation will examine all five major applications of patent analytics - prosecution, litigation, strategy, patent office behavior, and valuation - using examples of leading patent analytics services.
