Description: |
“Thinking [somewhat] Like a Patent Examiner – patent claims as seen by
examiners”. If you are thinking about seeking patent protection at any point in the future, this workshop is for you. Patent expert Harrison Colter will use case studies to show how inventors’ claims evolved during the patent process, helping you see what patent examiners will be thinking about when they look at your invention.
AND
“Reading Office Actions, a brief primer for Professor Inventors”. Girard Courteau will
provide the TAMU perspective and clarification on 101, 102, 103, 112
rejections and explain the difference between obviousness and anticipation, a rejection and an objection, and how to think about distinguishing an invention from what is cited in prior art.
