| Description: |
This development session is for students who intend to compete in the 2017-2018 Preliminary 3 Minute Thesis Competition. A short presentation will be given followed by a "workshop" time for students to receive 1:1 feedback as they start constructing their 3MT speech. Topics covered in this session will include: how to create an effective 3MT presentation, how to design a PPT slide for 3MT, and how to engage the audience. Students are recommended to bring a laptop or tablet to work on. A total of 3 development sessions will be held for 3MT preliminary participants and students are welcome to attend multiple sessions. |
