| Description: |
Today’s students bring a diversity of social identities, experiences, and world views to the classroom that can both enhance the learning environment, as well as create challenges when controversial topics are introduced. In this workshop, we will identify opportunities to create meaningful learning experiences that foster student engagement with difference, and discuss strategies that can encourage dialogue that promotes learning.
