Description: |
On 2/20/19 at 4pm in The Memorial Student Center 2300A, we will screen the film "Say Her Name: The Life And Death of Sandra Bland". Following the screening, dinner will be hosted and a dialogue about the documentary will follow. The program is scheduled to end around 7:30pm. This film explores the mysterious 2015 death of 28-year-old Sandra Bland, following her arrest for a traffic violation in a small Texas town. The film team followed the two-year case beginning shortly after Bland’s death, exploring the questions of what really happened to her, and what we may learn from her tragedy.
